Rashad Evand v.s. Thiago Silva set for UFC 108

News
Rashad Evans Thiago Silva

Rashad Evans (13-1-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC) and Brazilian fighter Thiago Silva (14-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) have verbally agreed to fight each other in the co-main event of UFC 108 on January 2 in Las Vegas.

“Thiago Silva is a good fighter, I’d like to fight him and I think he wants to fight me…. When I saw him after he fought Keith Jardine, he kind of gave me a nasty look that I interpreted like he wanted to take me on, and I’d like that.” said Evans.

Evans is looking to bounce back from his last brutal KO defeat against Lyoto Machida that cost him the UFC’s light heavyweight title last May.

Silva, who also lost against Machida at UFC 94, just won a big fight against Keith Jardine at UFC 102.

UFC 108 is scheduled for Jan. 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be featuring Anderson Silva against Vitor Belfort.

I’ll bet on Silva. I don’t like Evans in TUF S10…
